Moving onto Cows milk question

DD is now one and I was thinking about moving her onto cows milk. Is there a way to do it, should I mix it with formula half and half to begin with, or just switch?

Is it better to give them follow on milk rather than cows milk? or do I really have to go on shaking bottles!

Thanks!

No need to give follow on, it's a marketing gimmick! Up to you if you want to phase it in or just switch - depends if your dd is happy to accept cow's milk.

Might be better to give up bottles too now, and switch to a cup - or at least make sure you clean teeth after milk at bedtime.

Hmm, yes the swap to cups has been gradual, she just doesn't drink it all from a cup. Will be battling that one a bit more this week!

I think they say to stop bottles at 1 mainly for their teeth, so as long as you clean them after the milk I don't suppose it really matters that she doesn't want to switch to cups yet.
