So far all my 2yo DD has had is homemade meals made with all fresh natural stuff..

Im making a korma tonight.

Its chicken, peppers, mushrooms, onion, cocnut milk and a can of condensed pataks curry paste.

All the ingredients in the curry paste are natural no preservatives, there is added salt but i worked it out andfor the amount she would have it wouldnt be abad amount of salt for her anddefinately not over he GDAs for the day.

Do you give your babied pre prepared food?

I just havntgiven her anyhtinglike this before.

She doesnt have any anlergies and she has had products containing nuts before

Thanx ladies :)

Yes, she'll be fine. Try not to worry about salt and stuff too much - a healthy diet for you is a healthy diet for her (she just needs a bit more fat and calories), so it's all about balance

We gave our dd korma at abt 6m. She LOVED it, she still does at almost 2yo :) It really is about giving them varied diet. Some pre-prepared foods are ok...but ONLY pre-prepared would be bad.
Even now, when we have things like the odd crisp or chocolate, or even fries, I say they're treats. She does go a bit nuts about fries and crisps (and suddenly she's realised cakes!) and would love them all the time. But treats are for after we've eaten real food I tell her and then we can have a few, but they are not in place of our meal, or fruits and veg.
Hope she loves it! And enjoy your meal! :)
