Engorgement and blocked duct now I'm weaning

Started DS on solids 9 days ago. Within 3 days he was demanding tea on top of breakfast that we started with. I'm offering milk after solid meals as well as in between but he's not interested at all after the solids and not taking as much inbetween either (often just one boob where as he's always polished off two, and sometimes swapped back to the first!). Now I'm back to leaky engorged breasts of the early days and yesterday got a blocked duct (which thankfully is clearing with massage and a bit of expressing). Is this a sign we've got him on too much solids too fast? Expressing a bit helps and it's handy to have some milk in the freezer, plus I'm squirting milk into whatever mush he's having, but ultimately I need to not express too much or I'll jsut keep making more milk then my DS now needs. Anyone any bright ideas or reasurance I'm not getting this all wrong. Don't want him not to be having enough milk, especially as he's not having any dairy in his diet until 1yo due to family allergies, so his only dairy is breat milk.

Could you offer solids after breastfeeds? I offer breakfast and tea an hour after a full breastfeed.
