How to sweeten stewed plums?

I have just stewed some over-ripening plums which I thought I could give to my children for pudding etc. However, having added a fair bit of sugar, they are still a bit tart! I would prefer not to add any more sugar - what else could I put in? DS2 is 7mo so I assume honey is not an option?

Thank you!

Maybe mix with stewed apple to add sweetness? Or grape?

You could try giving as they are- babies palates are different to ours- both mine ate them with no suugar added at all (didn't think to add it)... though maybe my plums were v ripe?

Adding it to greek yoghurt would tone it down too...

Mix it in with some stewed apple. Don't give honey to child under 1 as they are at risk from botulism (I think that's the one!).

Thanks ladies - DS2 gobbled it all up without flinching! Looks like it is me who has the sweet tooth...
