Ive totally given up BLW and any sort of weaning for another week. Thinking back im sure my ds was EBF for 9 mths with no probs.
Shes thriving.
Wet and dirty nappies.
Gaining weight-possibly on the chubby side .
Was going no where with the weaning apart from making it stressful for everyone, so am going to totally forget it for a week and start again.
She was having toast but i dont want my baby weaned onto toast !
She sleeps all night too aoart from the occassional quick breast feed which we actually both enjoy.
So am i doing something wrong or is anyone else just letting baby lead the way ?

DD is only 7 months but DS was EBF for 9 mths he didnt have any food before then as he didnt need or want it. He was small as he had allergies but has grown into a healthy 4 yo who will eat anything.
I have 4 DC now and all of them have been different, I think the best advice is to let you DD lead the way. The only thing I would recomend would be vitamin drops as although she's still thrieveing you vitamin reserves will be getting low.

Check out the BLW forum here, there are plenty of babies who are slow to start eating and you'll find some very supportive people on the forum. HTH
