So it's getting close to the time I start weaning DD. I was thinking of making fruit and veg purees and obviously ill make a batch. Was wondering how long a portion will keep in the fridge? Should I treat it like homemade soup?

I'm asking about a combination of carrot and apple for example with a few tbps of water? Obviously with added milk it's not gonna keep as long.

I only kept purees for 24 hours for a baby. I may have been over anxious about food poisoning.

But I froze loads, in ice cube trays, and as they got bigger, small containers.

they should be ok for a couple of days but I did the same as the pp and froze portions as well

I just freeze everything in portions and defrost when required
