I gave DS a spoon when I was feeding him...
He took it in his left hand, poked himself in the left eye, passed it to his right hand, poked himself in the right eye, then dropped it and gave it a dirty look!

What have your DCs done when weaning that has made you laugh?

Poor DS.

DD uses her thumb as a spoon when eating her yoghurt. She has only realised she can do this during the last week. It makes me chuckle every time she does it.

I put a fork out with DD's soup yesterday, as well as a spoon. She insisted on eating the whole bowl with it. Took bloody ages! (18mo)

I just did it again! Absent mindedly put a fork in reach. She'll be demanding one tomorrow!
