Hi

I've just read that baby can have full cow milk from six months old. When would you stop providing breast milk?

babies can have cow's milk on cereal and in food from 6 months

but they cannot have it as a main drink. they still need breastmilk or formula until they are at least a year

WHO recommend breastfeeding for the first 2 years of life. personally I will stop when my child chooses to wean

I agree, breastmilk or formula until at least 1 year as the main drink and full fat cows milk in cereal and cooking from 6 months.

FWIW I'm giving (expressed) BM to my 6YO.

As long as you both want to is the answer, but babies NEED it (or formula) until they're 1, as stated.
