what milk to replace breast milk with?

I am starting to hink about swapping baby's day time breast feeds for another type of milk. He is ten and a half months. don't want to use the big name formulas, and have read lots of stuff opposing cows milk. What about oat milk? or almond milk?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I'm no expert but would have thought cows milk would be ok if it wasn't the main source of milk. I suppose it depends how much you'll still be breastfeeding - you could even give just water in the day.

at that age both mine(bottle fed) only had 2 milk feeds per day - one in the morning and one at bedtime. They had water with meals and snacks.

Depends on how many breastfeeds he's still having I think - you don't want him filling up on another kind of milk when he still needs the nutrients from breastmilk (or formula).

he has about three at night, one in the morning and one in the day. he also has water with every meal. he is 27 pounds at the moment.

I'm not sure if just two breastfeeds is enough - I'd want to substitute the third feed for formula if not breastmilk. It's quite a significant amount of his milk intake still.
