ideas for light dinner

my little boy is 8 months and eating really well I spoon feed him as he doesnt take much milk anymore so i need to make sure he full. i currently giving him his main dinner at lunch then lighter foods at dinner time. could anyone give me some ideas of what i can do i do things like egg soldiers, macaronni cheese with pitta breads, scrambled egg so that he can do the toast fingers his self but need a few more ideas :)

My DD quite often has roast veg, I do a big batch and she has it for tea for 2 or 3 nights - throw in some chickpeas and potatoes and you have a complete meal.

Or other things on toast - hummus, cream cheese mixed with peas, dhal (lentils) with yoghurt and spinach?

Or any pasta sauce, DD likes tomatoey ones, generally with whatever veg I've got hanging around thrown in.
