Giving up the bottle - any ideas

i can't get my 16 month old DD to drink milk from anything but a bottle. She'll drink water etc from a trainer cup as well as an open cup but theres just something about milk - she'll take a sip and then ignore it. I've tried all types of cups those resembling a bottle right through to a 'proper big girls cup' - with no joy. She still has a bottle in the am and at bedtime and I'm not in a rush but if anyone has any ideas on making the switch I'd be grateful.

Why do you want to switch ? I know there's a pressure to wean from the bottle at 12mths, but if she's happy to have her milk from a bottle I would let her. If would be different with juice, but with milk I don't think there is any anything wrong with it, particularly if she has only 2 bottles a day. She'll do it on her own time.

Have had the same problem with both of my boys.
First one wouldn't drink milk out of a cup until he was over 2. Had to resort to water with breakfast and lots of cheese sauces etc!!
Second boy is now 10 month and am having the same problem.......any ideas would be appreciated.
