Best weaning recipes/how-to books?

Hi all

I have a 13 week old DS and wanted to start doing some research into weaning. Obviously I won't be starting the process for a few months, but like to be prepared and want to get my head straight with what to expect.

My aim (although this may not be realistic!) is to do a combination of purees and BLW. I've heard good and bad things about Annabel Karmel's recipes so would love some feedback on her books, and am looking for recommendations for BLW resources too.

(I think this is all brought on by the fact I had a nightmare last night about DS being weaned onto solid Aptamil.... Grin)

i started on purees and then started also giving him a few finger foods. I got a 2nd hand Annabel Karmel book and have made a couple of the things out of it but i'm generally not someone that cooks a lot of things from scratch so most of them seem alot of trouble to go to if the baby is going to not like it. Luckily my DS is a very good eater and has not refused anything.
