Defrosting Puree

I made up a load of puree to put in the freezer not long ago.

Ive got a bag of about 15 cubes of puree. I want to defrost 3 of them for lunch today to take to my mum's house.

Do I defrost them here or take them as they are?

How would I defrost them, either here or there?

I would take them as they are and defrost them when required. I used to use the microwave to defrost and reheat
