Can anyone advise? My baby is 5 mths old and has been on aptamil comfort milk for 3.5 mths due to bad trapped wind etc but have been told that he will have to go on hungry baby formula before I wean him. Is this correct and if so should I change to aptamil 1 before so his digestive system can get used to something that is a bit more difficult than the comfort milk to digest? or just try introducing aptamil one on a few feeds to get digestive tract used to digesting harder formula?

Um, DS stayed on the comfort milk to be honest, and as he started taking more solid the digestion sorted itself out. Who told you you had to change?

the tin itself says it is suitable up to 1 year so no need to change if he is happy with it

I weaned at about 5 months from birth. I think officially all dates are from birth with this but use common sense if they were v early or late. And there are just over 4 weeks in a month so go by calendar months.

6 months is 26 weeks.

My HV's said anytime from 24 weeks is fine.
