I am wondering if I should start considering how much protein, dairy, carbs, etc my baby is eating.

I have finally got her on three meals a day. Sometimes she just has fruit and veg combos. Other times i get a protein like egg/ beans/chicken or ground beef in her...

so how much protein or dairy should a 9 month old have?
how much pasta or potato or lentil?

should I be planning meals like an adult diet or just keep trying different things...

I don't think you need to worry too much at this point about specific quantities of the different food groups as long as your daughter is eating a varied diet. I always try to get my DD to eat some fruit and a yoghurt everyday and her meals will be a mix of protein and veg just as mine would. Don't forget that Lentils are an excellent source of protein and Iron too. As long as she eats a mix of everything over a whole week I am sure she will be fine.
