Ground almonds for a 12 month old?

I have baked cakes with ground almonds. I would like to offer one to dd. No history of allergies in the family.
Should I try or leave it for a bit longer?

I would let her eat it, there should be no problem if there is no history of allergies in your family.

Thanks, will let her try it.

Ground almonds should be fine - almonds are one of the less troublesome nuts compared to others (peanuts) Whole nuts should be avoided but ground and in a cake will be fine.

Mmmmmm.....cake!

She's had ground almonds..........and pecans and chestnuts. Definetly no allergy. Thanks for the advice.
