DD is nearly 8 months old. I have given her some blueberries recently and bought some strawberrries y'day to give her. Am now having the wobbles about food alergies. Reassurance needed!

Is there any history of food allergies in your family, or DP's?

If not then I'd say it's fine, although I think some people leave strawberries until a year.

If you are worried, you could try smearing a little bit of mashed strawberry on her top lip and wait to see if there is a reaction.
