How to wean from formula to milk?

Hi,
I am finding it hard to get my 12m ds from formula to milk. He has been fine with solids (eats everything in fact), drinks plenty of water each day but does not seem to want to take to cows milk. I have tried doing mixes of part formula & milk but he can taste it. I've put it in a new sippy cup for him so not in his normal formula bottles... still doesn't want to drink it.

Is this normal? Does anyone have some advice/tips for this?
Many thanks

I had the same problem with DS when we switched. He refused point blank at first and I really didn't know what to do. I think it's quite common as my cousin had the same problem with her wee one. I persevered with the mixing, starting off with a weeny amount of cow's milk (probably no more than 30mls in a 240ml bottle) and built it up really gradually over a month or so. It was a pain in the bum but it worked in the end. Hope you find a way that works for you :)
