wont have fresh veg......HELP

DD now 10 mths and will only have baby food from jars, tried her on fresh fruit and veg just not interested and when tried to give her lumpy food she gags any suggestions.

mix a bit of fresh with the jars. puree potato and carrots and mix in to her usual food.

she has got two teeth but just doesnt seem to wnt to eat lumpy food

just keep at it! Do it slowly. Give her toast and stuff to chew on!

agree steady away, they all do it at their own pace, at least she's happy to eat from jars!

Don't worry floody ... she will eventually.
My children were both late teethers and also late with lumps ...
The main thing is that she gets the right nutrients in whatever form. My DD is 20 months and although she loves fruit she still won't eat fresh vegetables apart from cucumber which is mainly water so not that nutritious. I still give her jars of vegetables in order to get veggies in her and I still keep offering steamed veggies as well which she chucks on the floor all the time
She does however eat all kinds of other 'proper' food ... but she really went from pureed food straight to proper food (apart from the vegetables) without tolerating any of the lumpy mush ... my DS was the same ... hated lumpy food but went from puree to straight to proper food too.

my other 2 ds was know problems with their food, do u think i am worrying over nothing, or maybe comparing her to the other two.
