Yes, behind MN is there a small grey box asking if you want to check for updates?

katymac · 14/10/2005 22:53

Small light grey box no writing
Larger dark grey box no writing

Computer won't respond

hunkerpumpkin · 14/10/2005 22:55

That's really odd - how about going and downloading any updates for Acrobat, then trying again? It's not earth-shattering stuff, so not sure it's worth it really! But if your PC hangs every time it opens a pdf link, it might be worth doing?

katymac · 14/10/2005 22:56

nope only this one all others are fine......can I get to it from a different direction (how do I get v7...will it cost me?)

"Cereal in bottles is also strongly linked to obesity, from what I know."

LOL - sorry had to chuckle at this one - my brother (who was bottlefed) had wheetabix fed to him in a bottle from 6 weeks old - by my mum - he's like a flipping rake - 6ft tall and needs belts to keep his trousers up.

I on the other hand - breastfed, and still managed to be a fat, short arse

katymac · 14/10/2005 23:19

finally - uninstalled and reinstalled it

Printed it off

Hope it's worth it

Thanks for your help Hunkerpumpkin

hunkerpumpkin · 14/10/2005 23:20

Brilliant! Really hope it's worth it now, KM

katymac · 14/10/2005 23:23

s'ok it's not for me...it's for one of my mums....last time she had a baby they did it at 16 weeks now it's 26 and she's confused

hunkerpumpkin · 14/10/2005 23:42

Ah, fair enough! You're fab!

Tell her it's much easier to wait till they're older - far less, if any, faffing with purees

katymac · 15/10/2005 08:29

He's 25 weeks and solely breast fed.....I think she is doing fine, she just wants reassurance
