Projectile vomitting after dairy

Hi, my baby (6.5 months) has had really strong reactions to dairy. I fed him some mango puree and then a petit filou for dinner today. He enjoyed both but about 10 minutes after feeding threw everything up very violently. This also happened last week after I gave him ready brek with normal boiled cow's milk (on advice from health visitor).
We started weaning about 4 weeks ago. He has been absolutely fine with fruit and veg purees (so far we have given him apple, pear, mango, broccoli, sweet potatoe, butternut squash, carrot etc).
I will avoid dairy for a while now.

Has anyone had similar experiences? Does it just mean that his gut is not ready yet for dairy, or could it be a sign of intolerance?

Many thanks. Smile

Did you bf or FF ?
My DS1 was dairy intolerant but we found out before weaning as he was EBF and dairy was present in my milk. He was also intolerant to lactose, whey soya (the list goes on).
So I would think it a bit unusual that they had no reaction to milk before. Also dairy stays in the gut for a while (I was told to stop eating it and I should be clear of it in 2 weeks when BF).
I did have a friend who's son was really sick after eating and no one could find a reason he just was. Obv only from my experience.

My DS reacted to dairy products at 6 months by vomiting too. He is FF since birth.
I would stop giving him any dairy for the moment and try again in a few weeks. DS now 10 months is fine with yogurt and other dairy products.
