I have a 11 week old and he's taking 260ml (9oz) of milk before bed, and he's still getting up 3 hours later for more milk, he was sleeping through the night but has now started getting up twice as he's hungry.

At what age can i start giving him baby rice to fill him up? Someone i know started doing it at 10 weeks but i thought perhaps this was a bit too early?

its advised to wait until 6 months before introducing solids and 17 weeks is given as the very earliest you could start. It sounds like a growth spurt and once it has passed his feeding will settle down again. Have you tried feeding more often during the day?

It's normal for a baby that age to wake up that often, it'll probably stay that way for a while yet to be honest. 11 weeks is far too young for rice (which has less calories than formula anyway), guidelines are as seona says.
