Heating frozen puree

Probably a daft question but my brain is like jelly.. When you have defrosted a cube of puree overnight in the fridge, do you need to heat it before serving? If it was veg I would always heat it, but for example, if it is say pear or apple, which I don't want to serve warm, can I give it straight from the fridge provided it is defrosted?

yes you can although i nuke it just for a tiny bit so it's not warm but not mega cold from the fridge or it might shock them a bit and put them off.

It's meat, fish, pasta and rice that needs proper heating
