DD is 26 weeks actual, 17 weeks adjusted. The bliss website says to wean prems between five and seven months actual age.
She is able to sit in her antilop unassisted and can pick up rattles etc and stick them in her mouth and suck, bite them.
I am having the weaning chat with the health visitor on Monday.
I quite like the idea of BLW and am inclined to offer her a bit of cooked carrot or banana and see how she goes.
Does anybody have experience of this? Is the theory that if she can sit up and feed herself then it's ok to do it?
I do have gill rapley's book on order from amazon but it's not here yet.

Thanks.
