tongue thrust at 7 months? my baby won't eat!

Is it possible to still have the tongue thing. My baby hit the 7 month mark today and she just won't eat anything. She seems interested puts food in mouth with fingers and with spoon, but then pushes it out, spits it out.

One day she managed to swallow some and I could tell by her poo. But that was only one day! I also can't seem to get the vitamin drops in...I have a liquid dropper but again she gags and spits it out...and I can't put it in the food as she also doesn't swallow that.

She is growing and healthy but seems to be upping her milk, waking at night to be fed and gulping down all the milk I provide. Am breast feeding but one bottle a day.

what can i do, am worried about lack of nutrients/vitamins and exhausted from constant breastfeeding...

I know two babies (10 and 11 mo) who were exclusively breastfed until they were 9 months and they are clearly healthy and thriving. Breast milk does not suddenly become less nutritious after 6 months and if your daughter seems healthy and has plenty of energy then she is getting all the nutrients she needs.

Do you have enough support? It sounds like you need more rest. If you can manage to nap during the day and eat well, then you might start to feel better. It's probably only a matter of weeks before your dd gets the hang of swallowing in any case.
