Hi,
We are into our 2nd week of weaning 6mo DS. I'm mainly doing purees but he's taken to it with gusto so we are already on 3 meals a day (main and then dessert). It was all porridge, veg and fruit but the last couple of days have been chicken casserole.
He is still BF as much as before (even waking for a extra feed at night
!).
So, when he was EBF he was only a once-a-week man. The last few days he has gone 5-6 times! They are solid and not usually very much (just a nugget - sorry, TMI!). Just wanted to check if this is normal for starting weaning? Should they start to consolidate a bit more as his tummy gets used to it? Should they really be this solid already? He doesn't seem in any pain doing them so don't think he is constipated.
I'm sure I'm worrying about nothing but it is just such a change for him. And the number of nappies and wipes we are using...
