Baked beans!

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering is it ok for my 8 1/2 month old to have baked beans??

Also when can you try them on peanut butter?

I hope so, my 7 month old had some the other day. But check the salt levels because they are shockingly high, even in the low salt versions, I think even half a tin is over the daily allowance so especially if you're giving bread at the same time it's a very salty meal.

I think the current guidance for peanut butter is that it's ok after 6 months so long as there are no allergies or eczma etc in your family, see this link:
