Can a 7 month old baby eat, or rather suck on, cucumber? and melon? I had a feeling it was one of those difficult-to-digest foods. Where can i find a list of suitable foods for suitable ages? TIA

God, I hope so.

When DD was 6 months when we were in Spain in August, it was more or less her staple diet. She liked us to push a hole through the middle so she could grip it and gnaw away rabbit-style. No harm done.

Yes, DD has been eating it since she was 6 months

Never heard otherwise.
