breakfast solutions!

Hi, my 7.5 month old is generally a good eater. However, she very rarely eats more than a few mouthfuls of breakfast. She has milk at 7am (180ml) and then brekky at 8am. I do not want to drop the milk as she still has a bottle at night and don't want to start dropping day time milk while the night one is still there!

I have tried all different things. She is generally interested if I just give her fruit (mashed bannana or fruit puree) but cereals, egg, porridge etc just don't do the trick - which is strange as she is far from fussy for the rest of the day.

Anyone got any good brekky ideas I can try out? Thanks!

Toast with low-sugar jam/mashed banana/pear etc
Pancakes with same
Mini muffins
Eggy bread
Yoghurt or fromage frais

try dropping the night feed. dd started losing interest in her breakfast but refound it when we dropped the dreamfeed.

she continued to sleep through.

Maybe some yoghurt and fruit? And is there a way to move the milk & breakfast further apart? Maybe 30 min's earlier bottle, and 30 min's later breakfast? Then you get a good 2 hours between feeds, and she should be hungry enough for some cereal, fruit etc?

I don't think she's being finicky, maybe just not all that hungry?

We had breakfast much later for DS at first - he had milk around 7 too and breakfast beween 9 and 10! He didn't really seem hungry before that time.

He is now 1 and has gradually looked for it earlier eats around 8am now.
