Confused about milk...

DD will be 6 months in a few weeks and I am a bt confused about cows milk.

I know she can have as much breast milk as she wants.

I know she cannot drink cows milk until 12 months.

But under what circumstances can she eat cows milk (prior to 12 months), and how much is she allowed? Does it have to be cooked or is "raw" ok eg on cereal?

from 6 months small amounts of cows milk can be used in cereal and cooking as long as the main drink remains breast/formula milk.

yup, what seona said. Coews milk (and dairy in general) is fine from six months but cows milk shouldn't be the main drink until 1 year old.

It doesn't need to be cooked and you can use it without reservation in / on food.
