6mo pain in evening/ night Indigestion due to weaning?

Just started weaning my 6mo. She's taken to it well, but has goe from being a relatively good little sleeper - waking and feeding between 1-3 times a night to waking 5-6 times a night, screaming in pain. Could this be her poor little body adjusting to digesting food or something else? She's only had the supposedly easy to digest things so far - carrot, parsnip, butternut squash, swede etc etc. Planned to start her on the weetabix this week, but might be too much if a carrot can cause that much pain! Any ideas?

Could it be teething instead? How do you know it's stomach pain?

Could be teething, but seems to be spasms of pain - lots of writhing and often ends with some impressive farts, so I thought it could be wind/ processing the food. Though really I have no idea!

I've had exactly the same with my 6mo. Some nights he's ok and others he'll be awake every hour. It seems to be better if I only give him solids at breakfast and lunch. I've also adopted a more BLW approach so that I'm not forcing him to have more than he wants. I also think he's teething as well which doesn't help the situation.
