Cheese...

My DD is being weaned on a combination of purees and finger foods. She's been enjoying fruit (skins left on for things like plums etc.), roasted veg and chunks of bread.

I'd quite like to offer her cheese as a finger food but am a tad dubious about how best to do it in case it gets lodged in her throat. Am I worrying unnecessarily? Should I offer her finger sized pieces? Or wait a bit? Advice please!

She's almost 8 mo and sits unaided. No teeth!

Thanks!
