Savoury finger foods?

DD is 9 months and a pretty good eater. I do end up resorting to a lot of rusks/rice cakes and so on to keep her occupied while preparing/clearing up food, or when we're eating. Other than those baby crisps, does anyone have any ideas for portable savoury finger foods? I don't want to overload her with sugar.

I have tried steamed carrots sticks and sticks of cheddar, with limited results...

if you have time you could always make a batch of savoury finger foods to keep handy in the freezer - maybe mini pizzas, cheese straws, some hoummous to go with mini breadsticks? My 11 month old loves cold cooked frozen peas and / or sweetcorn and even cold plain pieces of pasta!

ould you let her hold /eat some of what you;re eating?

Also fruit. Any type. Pitta bread, cooked veg. F loves anything brightly coloured.
