DD2 is nearly 24 weeks and has been weaning for almost 3 weeks now. She has brunch and supper currently and we'd been going great guns.
She's been a bit under the weather the past couple of weeks with a cough but this didn't seem to impact on weaning. However, I took her th the GP today as I felt that the cough had gone on long enough. GP gave her the once over including looking at her throat using the wooden 'lolly stick' to hold her tongue down. DD didn't like this.
Anyway, when I came to give her brunch this morning she barely ate any and at suppertime became quite upset and refused solis then too.
Needless to say after such a good start, this has really got me worried. Don't know if she's feeling unwell (GP said she was okay, probably got a viral thing blah blah) or if the wooden stick in her mouth has left a lasting impression.
Any advice gratefully received!
