My 9 month old DD has been eating some of what we have for dinner (I cook without salt) but I've been using tomato puree without thinking anything of it (in bolognase, pasta sauce etc). My friend just mentioned that she doesn't use it for her DD because of the salt content. Am now panicking - how much salt do you think is in a couple of squidges of puree?!?! (She obviously doesn't eat a tomato based dish every meal). Should I be avoiding it?
