My DD(5 mths)started solids last week - loves it. My first always turned away when full, but this one won't say no! After the equivalent of a 125g jar, she'd probably eat more. How much is too much? She's above average weight, but until now has been soley breast-fed.

you can never overfeed a baby apparently, they will sick what was too much, but, that does sound like quite a lot, does she look a little stuffed but not know when to stop maybe. Try to read her as she feeds and judge it by that IYSWIM.

That sounds like a lot of food! Be sure to breastfeed before offering solids and remember a few spoons at this stage is plenty if hungry she can have more breastmilk.

that is a lot!
to start with you should only be giving a few teaspoons of baby rice or pureed carrot etc
gradually build it up

at the moment your intention is not to fill her up with food, but to get her used to eating... milk should still be the main source of nutrition
