Also, a question about peas

Can I give my baby pea puree? Will he like it? He is 6 months. If so, what sort of peas should I use to make it? I don't think I've ever bought fresh peas, only frozen Blush

Ah, upon further research, it seems peas are notoriously hard to puree smooth because of the skins - think I'll give it a miss and wait till he can just pick them up and eat them whole!

I liked throwing peas in when pureeing a load of mixed veg - seems to work ok. DS liked parsnip, carrot and pea together. Frozen peas worked fine.

He eats them whole now (10mo) and loves 'em!
