how to thicken a puree?

I've just made a batch of Annabel Karmel's Watercress, Potato and Courgette puree. It's too runny I think, even for little DD. What can I add to eat either before or after I've frozen it, to give it a bit more texture?

TIA

Baby rice, or a bit more of potato or other veg?

You can thicken anything by grating in some raw parsnip then heating it through. You can always reblend it afterwards.

thanks very much. I should have thought of baby rice of course but I'm so tired from spending the whole of my saturday evening in the kitchen making these wonderful dishes for DD that I'm not thinking straight! In a previous life I used to go partying on a saturday night, I'm sure I did!!
