Just a quick question needs answering asap, googled it and came up with nothing, have a nearly 6 month old (in a matter of days) daughter and I am not sure if its safe to feed her primula cheese spread on bread as a finger food type thing??

Having loads of problems feeding her savoury food that I didnt have with my two other children, shes only accepting sweet food, so I thought she might like to have a cheese spread sandwich put in front of her so she can eat it in her own time and its not savoury?

Not sure if its safe though??

Thanks

I would avoid too much processed foods. you can just butter the bread finger or use ordinary cream cheese.

Primula is relatively high in salt and I agree with mousymouse on avoiding processed foods. Full fat philadelphia or similar is better.

She might find toast easier to eat than bread as it's less 'doughy'.
