Slow weaners anonymous

DS is now 14 mths and we've tried to stick to BLW since 6mths apart from yoghurt, which we spoon feed him, unless he grabs the spoon.
He'll try tiny bits of anything put in front of him, but that's the trouble, it's tiny bits.
His size has gone from 50th centile at birth to now 2nd for length and weight.
Has anyone else experienced this? All other babies we know eat like horses.
Is he just a slow weaner or isn't there such a thing?
He's still having bm and vitamin drops.

I'm afraid I don't have experience but just wondered what your HV had said? Has DS suddenly become more active (i.e just started walking) and burning more calories? Sometimes that can be a reason their growth slows.

Hope someone with some experience comes along for you.

HV isn't concerned, it's just me and everyone else. He is walking. I expected that to make him eat more, but no...
