Milk main meal until one?

I keep seeing people writing that milk should be the main meal until 1, and that food is fun til one. I'm very confused.
My DD started weaning at 6 months, as per guidelines, and now at 10 months only has mornign boobs and nighttime boobs. When at 8 mnts i saw the health visitor she told me to stop the midday milk, so i did. Now DDs main meal is food and definately not milk as really only the night time one is a long session. Have i done it all wrong? Should dd be having more milk. Now i'm so far into food and she loves it, should i re-introduce milk?

Don't worry, every baby is different and they let you know what they need. If she's eating well and having milk twice a day, and some yoghurt, cheese or milk in her food, then she's almost certainly having the pint of milk she needs in one form or another.
