How do I heat up my refridgerated puree?

I know this must sound like a stupid question but, if I choose to serve the puree warm, how do I do it? Microwave? Or on the stove? And if on the stove, can I just put the little plastic pot I've stored it in straight into the pan or will it melt???

microwave or in a bowl of hot water

or just use finger food!

Sorry to be pedantic, but can you tell me more about the bowl of hot water? Is it boiling? Or just hot. Or just warm. I am only on day 2!

I always reheated in the microwave - probably safer than having bowls of hot water hanging about.

boil kettle, fill bowl with water, sit pot of puree in it

takes a while to heat up tho

Microwave way easier but make sure you test it first and stir throughly and test it in a few places.

I defrost and heat in the microwave - inavriably its then too hot so I then stick an icecube in to cool it down faster as the purees dry out a little so I would need to add water anyway- but adding it before the microwave means it is still to hot!
