Hi, my 28 weeker is now 7 months and am wanting to give her weetabix but am concerned that may be too early - Dietician says she can have it but she didn't sound too convincing to be honest. Any thoughts/experience advice gratefully received.

It's fine to follow their actual age for weaning, although with a 28-weeker I might push it an extra month or so - which you have. Saying that, don't feel in a hurry to do anything - go at your own pace and what you feel happy with.

If you want to leave grain for another month then that's fine - at this stage it's 'learning to eat' and trying new flavours - no hurry!!!
