The Grove Resort Orlando - What do you wish you'd known before you stayed?

I've finally bit the bullet and booked 10 nights at The Grove Resort.
For those who have stayed here can you please give me your top tips or things you'd wished you'd known before you stayed.
We are a family of 4, 2 adults 2 children age 16 (birthday when we are there) and 11. I've booked through Virgin and we're staying in a 3 bed apartment.
Thank you

Fantastic resort. You’ll love it! When you book in ask for a high up room (think the top floor is 7th?) with a view of the fireworks (don’t get a Resort view, unless you’re a fan of car parks). Check the kitchen when you arrive for cutlery etc - we had zero forks last time for some odd reason. If you have any problems walk down to Reception; they are so busy they rarely answer the phone.

The on site restaurant and shop are wonderful, as is the water park. And go to Flamingo Crossing for eating out which is very close. We’ve stayed there twice and are going back next year. Enjoy!

Also, when you go to WDW use the road via Flamingo Crossing; it’s much quieter than other roads because it’s more of a back entry so, although it can be busy, it’s not manic.
