If you buy Disney world tickets, can you use them at any park?

Early stages of planning Orlando for this summer but the tickets that you get in a package, are those for any of the Disneyworld parks? For example, if your package includes 7 day passes, can you spend one day at the magic park, one at the animal kingdom etc?

If buying tickets in advance, there are good deals for Britsh visitors (pay for 7 days but get 14 sort of thing). You have to specify the first day you want to use your tickets, but I don't think you need to pre book the parks any more. The tickets are also valid for the Disney waterparks and the crazy golf (I think you're restricted to one golf game per day but there are 3 different mini golfs to choose from). Also, for the first time I think you don't need to use all the days consecutive ly, but can spread them over a few extra days if you want rest days in the middle. You might also want to investigate Genie plus.
