Wii - what accessories do we need ?

Our family is acquiring a Wii this Christmas, mainly for ds who is almost 7 )but I suspect dh will use it more than I'd like too).

It comes with Wii sport and Wii resort and we are getting mario something or other and a star wars game but what other gadgets do we need to actually together play as a family, do we need extra handheld stuff, wheels etc ?

I should of course have said please advise. The task of shopping for Father Christmas is frazzling me. Sorry

We need to get any accessories bought this weekend as it's the last child-free shopping opportunity I'll have.

Please help if you have any suggestions.
