Can anyone help with a gaming laptop?

I am buying my daughter a gaming laptop and she will solely use this for The Sims 3. Because its such an old game I am having trouble knowing if these laptop specs would run the game well:

Ryzen 7 7735HS
Radeon 680M GPU
16gb

Any help is much appreciated because I haven't a scooby about these things!

Sims 3 is a 15 year old game. Any laptop with those specs will have no issues whatsoever running it. That laptop will run most contemporary games with no real issues, never mind something released in 2009.

If you want your daughter to be able to play some light games like geometry vibes or newer The Sims 3 in the future, go for a mid-range phone. Laptops in this segment usually use Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5, 8–16 GB RAM, and powerful integrated graphics cards like Radeon 660M or Iris Xe, or low-end discrete cards like GTX 1650
