Anxiety after hacking

I’m not really clued up when it comes to computer gaming n such so forgive me if I use the wrong terms.
my DS is 17 and an avid gamer. He has a small group of on line friends who he games with regularly.
two days ago I came home to him in a state because someone had hacked his Microsoft account. Changed his email and password so he couldn’t access anything. After trying some options we decided to cancel his subscription and start off a new account for him with a new email. We then noticed one of his other gaming accounts had been hacked too. We did the same with this one. Thought that was problem solved.
However His anxiety seems to be thru the roof about it and I don’t know why. At first he said it’s because he was worried about my bank details being compromised so for reassurance I called my bank. Then he said what if they’ve got our home address. The account who hacked him is in Russia , common occurrence I’ve read so I assured him no Russians are coming knocking on our door lol.
Last night he said he was feeling anxious again so I sat and spoke to him at length to try to get to the bottom of it. I asked him outright had he ever sent anything he shouldn’t, photos etc and he swears not and I believe him. I’ve always drummed online safety into him. I just don’t know how else to reassure him. Hate seeing him so anxious.
on top of this he’s waiting for his exam results from college which I know he’s worrying about so not sure if it’s just a culmination of things.
has anyone else’s kids had this, almost paranoia, over computer issues. Thanks in advance
