Nintendo Switch Best Games

Hi There, was wondering whether anyone would be happy to share what their kids favourite Nintendo Switch games were? We're looking at getting our Son one for his birthday (will be 6) with a couple of games, so any recommendations would be great. Thanks.

Jurassic World Lego! Great fun. I love animal crossing but my son doesn't.

If he likes Disney and Pixar. I recommend Disney Dreamlight Valley. Pokémon games are good too if he's into Pokémon or adventures?

We got Animal Crossing and Mario U as the starter games when mine was a similar age. I wouldn't get more than 2 games as they won't spend the time needed to get to know controls etc if they just want to flit between them and try different games.

Disney speedstorm. Mine love it and its free too. Way better than mario cart imo

Garfield Lasagne party. My 5 year old son loves it but it's great fun for everyone. We all love playing it with him, which I can't say about other games (Bluey, i'm looking at you!)

Following with interest! We like Mario Kart, plus Zelda TOTK is incredible but 6 is too young.

For that ago MarioKart (to play as a family…now DS2 is 8 I am usually the loser) and Marioparty (lots of little games).

Miitopia - they love playing this together and I really don't understand the appeal?!

Dc love minecraft, Mario kart, Mario party and one of the sports games also a must. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics (either summer or winter) is good. Sports party also good.

I think Mario party is brilliant, when dc's cousins come round all 4 of them play. They are now 11, 13, 14 & 15 but have had several years of fun from the game.

Lovers in spacetime is great. It is a cooperative game where you have up to 4 people and you fly a space ship together and shoot stuff. It is great because if one person is crap then it still works really well.

@DeathMetalMum oh yes we have Mario and Sonic Olympics from 2020 (lol!) and it's been really popular.

Basically any party games that involve waving the joy con around are a winner.

My 7 year old is obsessed with Switch Sports, hasn’t really taken to MarioKart.

DS loves Pikmin 4!
