Hi first time playing the game I had to restart because I got so confused and I think i did something wrong I lost all my apes except for 1 baby so I tried to move to the next generation but I didn’t know how to do it I think I evolved instead and when I evolved it brought me to a new settlement that I didn’t know (I was originally in the first settlement) and all of a sudden I was an elder ape with 1 other elder ape in like a cave that was near a waterfall I tried to find my old settlement but got lost and there was a tiger spawning every few seconds! I couldn’t catch a break I was constantly bleeding and having to get horsetail in the end I didn’t even manage to find my old camp I died and then I spawned as a young monkey in a different settlement again! Near the 2 river junction!! (I think that’s what it’s called) I was very confused and I just wanted to get back to my original settlement (the first settlement) where there was no tiger and not much danger so I restarted the game, so I have questions.
how do I move to the next generation (playing on Xbox series x) I just can’t find the option for it I can lock in traits etc but for some reason I can’t see the option to move generation,
if I do eventually move my settlement (currently don’t feel comfortable doing that as everytime I go near the 2 river junction the tiger spawns and I don’t know how to fight it passed the 2 river junction are rock pythons spawning everywhere!) how do I move it?
is it possible to evolve without moving settlements or losing my clan mates?
currently only Able to explore using elder monkeys struggling to conquer fear of the unknown I conquered one area but when I tried to move to the next I couldn’t identify nearby objects as I hadn’t yet discovered them how do I conquer the unknown when that happens?
do I need to unlock the skill to fight before I can fight back?
